We’ve been hard at work this fall to help you deliver better reporting, tell richer stories around your portfolio, and save time on operational tasks. From smarter data flows to powerful new tools for capital calls and distributions, there’s a lot to unpack.

Portfolio companies are here
You can now bring your portfolio companies into Vessel — and with them, the full story behind your fund’s performance. Import company-level data and quarterly metrics to give LPs deeper visibility into what’s driving results.

Each company gets its own dedicated page that grows as you add more data — making your investor portal more dynamic and more valuable with every update.

Even better, LPs can now watchlist companies they’re interested in. These signals surface in your dashboard, giving you a new way to gauge LP appetite. Over time, this helps you identify potential co-investment opportunities based on real-time interest.

Generate capital call & distribution notices in minutes
We’ve made it dramatically easier to send clean, accurate capital call and distribution notices. You can now generate them directly from your dashboard using a smart text editor that supports tokens like [Amount], [Due Date], and more.
Write once, personalize everywhere. It’s fast, automated, and completely tailored to your LPs.


Quarterly metrics & LP-level rollups
Opportunity metrics now support quarterly reporting, including historical data imports through our Quick Import tool.


For LPs with multiple commitments, we’ve launched an aggregated dashboard so they can view data across funds in one place. It’s easier than ever for your LPs to stay informed — and for you to showcase results.

Full support for distributions
In addition to capital calls, you can now manage distributions on Vessel — including importing historical distributions, uploading notices, and notifying LPs.
Whether it’s pro-rata or custom, all data flows automatically into LP reports.


LP reporting page previews
You can now preview reporting pages exactly as your LPs will see them — capital calls, distributions, documents and all. Double-check your setup before hitting publish.


Page editor enhancements
We’ve made several quality-of-life improvements to the page editor:
Copy & paste sections between opportunities
Auto-fill LP profiles via LinkedIn URLs
Auto-fetch logos and descriptions for logo cards
