We’ve been hard at work this spring, and we’re excited to share the latest updates designed to make managing investor relations and closing deals with LPs even easier. Let’s dive in.
IR Assistant
Meet your new AI-powered IR sidekick. The IR Assistant helps you instantly summarize LP tear sheets and surface key insights — perfect for prepping before a meeting or quickly catching up on investor activity. When it’s time to upload reports to Vessel, the assistant also helps you categorize them in a single click. It’s speed and clarity, all in one place.
And this is just the beginning — we’re actively working to make the IR Assistant even smarter and more helpful with every release.


PDF splitting
For our customers using SS&C: say goodbye to manual report splitting. Our new PDF splitter uses SS&C split codes to automatically break up reports by LP. You can even preview the output right in the app before submitting — giving you confidence that everything’s right the first time.

Improved video sections
You asked, we delivered. You can now embed up to four videos in a single section on your opportunity pages — a big upgrade from the previous one-video limit. This lets you tell a richer story and showcase your deal from multiple angles, driving more engagement and boosting your chances of closing.

Smarter commitment grouping
If you’ve ever noticed multiple commitments from the same LP within the same opportunity appearing separately, we’ve got great news — that’s now a thing of the past! We’ve streamlined this experience so that these commitments are automatically grouped in both your investor portal and the Vessel dashboard. This means a cleaner, more intuitive experience for your LPs and better organization for you. Reporting documents, key contacts, and capital calls are now tied to a single commitment, even when made across multiple closings.




Easier LP information management
Until now, updating LP details meant reaching out to us. Not anymore! You can now update LP names and ownership directly — no extra steps needed. Even better, LP information is now shared across your workspace. If an LP is involved in multiple opportunities, updating their details once updates them everywhere.

More control over commitments & closings
Need to tweak a manually added commitment? You can now update commitment amounts, closings, and dates yourself — no need to contact support. For commitments made across multiple closings, you can now add or remove closing events as needed. These changes are reflected in both your dashboard and the investor portal, ensuring LPs always have clear, accurate details.

Managing your capital calls
With Vessel, handling capital calls is more straightforward than ever.
You can create capital calls, assign LPs to them, track their status and amounts and notify LPs when a call is due — all in one streamlined process. Capital calls will also appear on your investor portal, making it easier for your LPs to stay informed and enhancing their overall experience.

LP tear sheets
Investor reporting just got a lot easier.
With our revamped LP tear sheets, you can quickly access all the key information you need about an investor in one place. Whether you're preparing for a call or sharing updates, these tear sheets make it simple to stay organized—you can even email them directly or download them as PDFs. On top of that, you can add personalized notes to the tear sheets to further enhance the information and tailor them to your needs.
